Fun at the Beach

We are alive! It is hard to believe our last post was Christmas...where does the time go? Here are some pictures of Elin enjoying our break at Myrtle Beach. She had such a fun time walking up and down the beach. She loved the waves, she would point to them and giggle...until one knocked her over. So needless to say her happy relationship with the waves was over for the rest of our trip. Most of our time was spent walking up and down and up and down and up and down the sand. Elin also loved eating the sand and napping in the lazy river at the hotel. It was the only way she would take a nap...she hates to miss out on anything. She has a rough life!

She is so much fun and very full of energy! She makes us laugh everyday. She is walking all over the place and her favorite word to say is OUTSIDE! She puts a special accent on the end of it to make it sound like outsiiiidetttt. It is so cute. She pretty much talks and plays all day long. She has seven little teeth and loves to munch on cheerios. She isn't a picky eater at all...she will eat anything we put in front of her. As you can see from the pictures, she is quite the messy eater too!

Jenni is now on weekend day shifts at the children's hospital and enjoying every minute of it. SO LONG night shift!!! whoohoo!!!!! She seems to have much more energy now! Night shift was rough! Corey just finished another semester of seminary and is taking advantage of summer break and giving his brain much needed rest from all of the reading he has to do in the school year.

Jenni is going to Haiti next week to work in a children's hospital and orphanage! She was able, by the grace of God, to raise her support by selling hair bows! It was so neat to see God provide for her trip through so many people...perfect strangers that wanted to be a part of something greater than themselves! So amazing and encouraging to witness! Please pray for her safety and opportunities to share God's love with her team and Haitian patients. She will be there for 10 days! Also pray for Corey as he will be taking care of Elin while mama is gone.

We hope this post will help satisfy cravings around the world for pictures of Elin...especially for our friends "Lonely in China":) and our friends in Utah. We love you and miss you all!
